What is Activity Bubble?

Activity Bubble is Toronto’s local directory and blog about physical activities. The main focus is to provide the community with up to date information about sports leagues, upcoming tournaments, new classes, clinics, marathons and charity events, pick-up sports or urban adventures. Activity Bubble has links to venues, clubs, studios and gyms across the city as well as information about upcoming events.

What is a Feed?

A feed in web terms is data of information that is usually frequently updated. For instance, you can obtain our blog posts titles and descriptions via feeds by clicking on one of the categories on our Feed page. Once you click on the link, your browser should automatically save the feed information to your feed reader.  Your browser should come with one if you don’t have one.

How can I get my event listed on Activity Bubble?

Please fill out our form with details on your event.  The Address, URL, Cost, Date and Time is required.

How can I get my website listed on Activity Bubble?

Please fill out our form with details on your website.  Please submit a brief description, less than a paragraph to summarize your business.

How do I join the Activity Bubble team?

Please take a look at current opportunities under Join Us. If there is no listing,  you may still submit your information and we will keep it in our database for future reference.

How do I report a bug?

What is Delicious?

Delicious is a bookmarking service. Activity Bubble keeps track of all the local websites in our directory through Delicious. You can check us out directly on Delicious under the name activityBubble.

What is Flickr?

Flickr is an image hosting service. Activity Bubble uses Flickr to host any images and to use images relevant to posts. We ensure our images are always linked back to the owners Flickr page and try our best to find local images and photographers.

What is Twitter?

Twitter is a service that allows people to share short messages similar to status updates on Facebook. The only difference is the limitation of how many characters you can type as well as the massive amounts of people using it worldwide! Activity bubble uses twitter to post news and events happening in Toronto.
